Global Electronic Services is happy to announce that we opened a new Service Center location in Lynwood, Illinois about 45 minutes Southeast of Chicago. This exciting new repair facility provides convenient coverage to the Northeast region. So what drove our choice to the Chicago area for this new expansion?
Growth
As we are a rapidly growing company, we have chosen to relocate one of our head engineers in the Industrial Electronic department and one of our top Servo Motor technicians from our Buford, Georgia facility to lead teams of technicians in the Northeast region. As the demand rises for our services we of course must meet that demand by adding technicians to our team. Pushing this expansion to a new Service

Center made the most sense from a space, customer support and service standpoint. We have invested heavily in ensuring that this new facility is outfitted with the same level of testing equipment and capabilities as our home office so that our customers can be assured their repairs will done with the same level of quality, in the same turnaround time, they have come to expect from us…no matter where they ship them.
Location
The Chicago area is a great location because it gives our many Northeast customers a Service Center that is central to the areas in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin and can meet their needs quickly.
Shipping Costs
The first 3 vans have arrived!
One of the main reasons why our customers choose repair over the choice of buying new is cost savings. An extra way we can save a customer even more is in shipping costs. As we know the cost of ground transportation across the country is on the rise. In 2016 alone the net average shipping rate rose between 3.9 – 6 percent across the major carriers. With these factors in mind adding a location that is closer to many of our customers makes good sense. In addition to this we are employing multiple drivers in each cardinal direction within a 2-4 hour driving distance from the facility to assist customers with FREE pickup and delivery service. This will not only help our customers logistically but save them money as well as downtime.
Whether it is convenient repair service, quicker lead times or simply having a trusted partner for your industrial repair needs right in your own backyard, we are very pleased open up this new location.
