Parts and Supplies Specialist

Duties:

  • Research and find hard to find parts and inventory
  • Scan different sites to find replacement parts
  • Find the “needle in a haystack” attitude
  • Maintains supplier relationships by identifying best source
  • Examining products; communicating and enforcing requirements
  • Obtains parts and supplies by inventorying items
  • Preparing and placing purchase orders
  • Receiving, inspecting, and housing inventory items
  • Maintains inventory in partsroom
  • Establishing re-order points
  • Completing annual inventory
  • Maintains product information by reading technical manuals and bulletins
  • Providing information to drivers and mechanics
  • Keeps inventory database up-to-date by inputting receipts and usage
  • Issues parts and supplies by obtaining and filling requests
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
