Parts and Supplies Specialist
Duties:
- Research and find hard to find parts and inventory
- Scan different sites to find replacement parts
- Find the “needle in a haystack” attitude
- Maintains supplier relationships by identifying best source
- Examining products; communicating and enforcing requirements
- Obtains parts and supplies by inventorying items
- Preparing and placing purchase orders
- Receiving, inspecting, and housing inventory items
- Maintains inventory in partsroom
- Establishing re-order points
- Completing annual inventory
- Maintains product information by reading technical manuals and bulletins
- Providing information to drivers and mechanics
- Keeps inventory database up-to-date by inputting receipts and usage
- Issues parts and supplies by obtaining and filling requests
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
